Depp Getting HUGE Paycheck for Pirates 4?

October 7th, 2008 in Actors, The Movie Biz

POTC-CaptainJackSparrow2 The source of all things true, British tabloid The Daily Mail is reporting of a rumor that Johnny Depp has landed a 32 million GBP paycheck for starring in a fourth Pirates of the Caribbean film.

If that were to be true, Depp would land the highest up-front paycheck in showbiz history – about $56 million US dollars.

The current record is held by Tom Hanks, who got 29 million GBP for next year’s Angels and Demons.
