deltorodrstrange.jpgGuillermo del Toro must be some kind of crazed workaholic.  Not only has he mentioned that he’s working on The Hobbit, Frankenstein, Hellboy II, At the Mountains of Madness, and the next Harry Potter film, but now he’s added a Dr. Strange movie to the list.  Seriously, is it even possible?  Talk about a full plate.

According to del Toro himself, he and Neil Gaiman have chatted about making a Dr. Strange movie.  Dr. Strange, for those of you not aware,  is one of the lesser-known members of the Marvel universe.

Del Toro told Empire Online, “That’s an interesting character because you can definitely make him more in the pulpy occult detective/magician mold and formula than was done in Weird Tales for example…the idea of a character that really dabbles in the occult in a way that’s not X-Filey, where the supernatural is taken for granted.”

If you love Guillermo del Toro, you’re in for a few years of his movies at this pace, and if they’re as much of successes as they’re expected to be, the reign of del Toro could last for at least a decade!
