Old quarterbacks never seem to go away do they? Dan Marino proves this once more as the former field general of the Miami Dolphins has taken up a new career. This time it is in films. Marino and his agent have produced the movie ‘Shanghai Hotel’. And truth be told, the movie sounds intriguing.
The movie portrays Yin Yin (Eugenia Yuan) who leaves China for a new life in America. However, she is sold into prostitution that is controlled by an Asian gang of thugs. The film is written and directed by Jerry Allen Davis.
Marino was intrigued by the story because he has adopted two children from China.
“I guess it gives me an extra connection,” he said in a recent interview. “They’re beautiful girls, and we understand their lives have changed from that.”
No word on a release date on the film but here is the trailer (after the break)
