Crowe Replaces Pitt in “State of Play”

After Brad Pitt decided he wasn’t going to be in the political thriller anymore it put Universal Pictures into somewhat of a slump but lucky for theme Russell Crowe has decided to jump aboard. Crowe will take Pitt’s place as a political journalist who ventures into gray area by leading the murder investigation involving a rising politician played Norton.
Production on State of Play will begin this month under Universal Pictures.
