It appears that comedian and actor Dane Cook is not happy with the poster for upcoming Lionsgate comedy My Best Friend’s Girl. In a posting on his MySpace page, the actors calls the film an “edgy comedy with a dash of romance” and “the funniest film I’ve done yet”, but then writes about the lackluster poster released for the film, calling it “boring, odd” and that it “has zero to do with the movie I performed in.”
“It sends the wrong message about our movie and I just wanted you to know, that I feel the pain,” he wrote. “I really love the film and I know from past missteps marketing wise that the wrong poster sends the wrong audience into the theater.”
The films opens on September 19.
