Hitting US theaters on January 11, 2008 is “In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale”, an epic fantasy based on the popular PC games.   Starring in the film is Jason Statham, Ray Liotta, Claire Forlani, Burt Reynolds, John Rhys-Davies, Ron Pearlman, and Will Sanderson.  Directing is Uwe Boll.

In the film, a simple family man (Statham) is forced to take up arms after an evil sorcerer (Liotta) unleashes an army of bloodthirsty beasts that destroy his small village, and capture his beautiful wife (Forlani).  As the forces overrun the land in an effort to overthrow the king (Reynolds) and his loyal magus (Rhys-Davies), the once peace-loving peasant and his two companions (Perlman, Sanderson) venture into perilous, uncharted terrain on a daring rescue mission.

This breathtaking fantasy adventure conjures up a mystical medieval world filled with dark magic, royal treachery, and spectactular battles.  If you love fantasies, you won’t want to miss this one.
