From Variety comes word that Chris Columbus, the director of the first two Harry Potter movies, will direct a film about Robert F. Kennedy’s 1968 presidential run for his 1492 Productions and India-based Reliance Big Entertainment.
The film will be based on “The Last Campaign”, a book by Thurston Clarke, with Columbus himself writing the script, or inviting another screenwriter to work with him depending on how he goes finalizing a directing project early next year.
