The fate of a Terminator 4 movie has been up in the air for some time.  Is it going to happen, or is it all just a pipe dream?  Whatever ends up happening, one thing is now for certain - Claire Danes will not be a part of it.

Danes played the part of the grown up John Connor’s girlfriend, Kate Brewster, in Terminator 3, and at the end of that film, she was trapped with him in an underground bunker while Skynet wiped out the remainder of humanity on earth.  We can only assume that T4 would pick up where T3 left off, so if Danes won’t be reprising her role, they’re going to have to find a suitable replacement.

The sad part is, her replacement will probably be someone of lesser talent, which is what inevitably happens when a big star drops out of a role in sequel.
