The Hollywood Reporter carries word that Cher and Johnny Knoxville are attached to star in The Drop-Out, an upcoming slacker comedy.
The film will follow a 35-year old career college student (played by Knoxville) who is kicked out of his parents house. Desperate to maintain his food, couch and TV regimen, he decides to get in good with the 62-year old woman next door (played by Cher). Thrown in the mix is the womans son who is looking for a father figure, even if its a guy his own age. That role is yet to be cast.
Penned and directed by Ricky Blitt, the project is being produced by John Jacobs.
