You know, I was just saying how the Halloween Horror Nights short film contest was a real mixed bag of entrants. Then what happens? The quality just starts falling through the floor. I’ve got a real winner this time, and I at least hope it DIDN’T win. It’s called Celeriac, and it’s just too horrendous for words.
Brace yourselves–you’ll want to be sitting down for this one when I tell you that this one’s about a guy who makes dinner and…and…oh I can’t mention it. It’s too horrible to describe!
HE ALMOST CUTS HIS FINGER.
That’s it. Really. The whole thing is directly below in case you want to sit through this drivel, but really, all it is is some guy not paying attention who almost cuts his finger preparing celery for dinner.
Like I asked above, did they only have ten entrants? Was THIS the best ten they could bring to bear? Considering horror names like Don Mancini of Child’s Play fame were involved, those poor judges must have been bored to tears. I’d be roundly screaming at half these entrants for wasting two perfectly good minutes of my time.
The Screenhead Ten Scale, thusly, hands over a whopping two out of ten for being nothing more than a movie about a narrowly-averted kitchen accident. I’ve seen scarier things on JACKASS.
