CBS is Born to Rock

CBS Films has acquired Jess Walter and Mark Steilen’s comedy Born to Rock reports the Hollywood Reporter. The project is centered on a group of struggling, aging rock musicians who, due to a mixup that catches a record exec’s attention for a children’s song written on a lark, find success as a Wiggles-type children’s band.
It is being produced by David Duchovny and Tea Leoni’s And Then Productions due to the fact that the company conceived and developed the script with the scribes.
