Last night, mischief and mayhem ensued when midnight screenings of Fight Club were held in Los Angeles and New York!  The theaters were boarded up and free coffee and donuts were served in the back like a support group, and everyone received a “hello my name is” sticker!

Remember, Screenhead is holding a giveaway for the Fight Club 10th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray disc now!

The third TV Spot for Avatar looks like playing in the perfect paradise.  I want to move to Pandora and find my avatar!

It is very rare that I will post two posters from the same movie at the same time, but I just love these posters. The film noir is so authentic and practical to the theme of the movie.  If you have seen the trailer, you know director Joe Johnston created a Gothic film that is horrific.

AICN made the first poster available while Cinematical introduced the second poster. Which one do you like the best?

I can’t wait until this movie comes out; it will rock your senses.

The second poster is so simple but catches the viewers attention. So much so that we know the wolfman is not far and perhaps the frightened woman, Emily Blunt, is only a deadly tear away.

Psychosis is about a horror novelist, Susan (Charisma Carpenter), relocates with her husband to a stunning English mansion. All settled in she begins seeing visions of a horrible massacre that happened 15 years earlier. Frantic to prove she isn’t losing her mind, Susan must uncover the secrets behind the massacre or risk becoming a casualty herself.

I hope you find this poster creepy enough for Halloween.  No words as to when the movie will be released, but still enjoy the creepy poster.

Ohhhhh boy.

Folks, I’m going to advise you up front, what you’re about to see will be disturbing.

Because what you’re about to see may well involve greed on a level so blatant as to rival Enron.  You’re about to see the characters from the horrendous Twilight saga used to hawk Vitamin Water from Sobe.

You can find the ad directly below–I’ve brought it in from YouTube, where I found it in the first place–and watch all you like.  It is downright horrifying.

Oh, sure, the marketeer in me sees this as a great idea to hawk overpriced water to a bunch of tweenagers who are more than happy to plunk down mommy and daddy’s money to get their hands on this crap because they saw it in New Moon or whatever.  But the normal human being in me, the part that hasn’t been infected by marketing, understands that this is a godawful use of licensed characters to hawk product.

And that just cheapens us all.

SpyNextDoor_1Sht_Fin#2894D0

I just received the one-sheet for The Spy Next Door starring Jackie Chan and Amber Valetta. However, yesterday you may have noticed that I posted the trailer for The Spy Next Door. I wanted to post the one-sheet as well, but had difficulty opening the file provided for the one-sheet. That said, I’m posting the a one-sheet now for you to enjoy.

The Spy Next Door hits theaters January 15, 2010!

The story is about a spy (Chan) who is babysitting his neighbor’s children. He is a mild-mannered guy, who winds up having to fight off secret agents after one of the kids his is babysitting inadvertently downloads a secret code.

Paranormal Activity movie is everywhere now because you folks demanded it. Well Done!  Here is the latest movie trailer to promote the wide-release of the movie. The trailer is short, and it doesn’t seem as scary as the others, perhaps it’s the pie of lemon meringue pie I had for desert, I don’t know.

Serious Moonlight movie trailer does not give this movie justice.  We have some talented actors here, but the movie is not coming together in its trailer.

The story is about a high-powered lawyer named Louise (Meg Ryan) arrives at her country home for a romantic weekend getaway, things don’t go exactly as planned. First, her husband of 13 years, Ian (Timothy Hutton), tells her that he’s leaving her for a younger woman (Kristen Bell).

Then, one thing leads to another, and pretty soon Ian finds himself held captive by an oddly cool Louise who explains that she won’t release him until he professes his love for her and commits to working on their marriage. And that’s when things start to go wrong.

The unexpected arrival of an opportunistic young gardener (Justin Long) and Ian’s impatient mistress only serve to complicate the crisis even further, while somehow forcing Louise and Ian to reckon with their past and realistically deal with their future.

The movie opens December 4, 2009.

daybreakers-fullsizefinalnew-poster

Daybreakers, a vampire movie, debuted today on MTV. The moviestars Ethan Hawke and Willem Dafoe.  Take a closer look at the poster, the details and design is very futuristic. Even though the thought of what is going on in the poster is horrific, it is a work of art.

The story takes place in the year 2019; a plague has transformed almost every human into vampires. Placed in a cultural situation with a dwindling blood supply, the vampire government plots their survival while vampire researcher (Hawke) works with a covert band of vampires (Defoe) to find a way to save humankind.

Australian brothers Michael and Peter Spierig directed the film, which was completely shot in Australia in late 2007 and has been in post-production since. Lionsgate brings Daybreakers to theaters on January 8, 2010.

Another puzzle has surfaced for Saw VI! Put together the pieces and get an exclusive peek at the film!  The horrific movie opens October 23, 2009.
