Okay, I know I’m somewhat known for bringing you the scary around here, but today, oh no. None of that, folks, it’s time we had a good laugh, and to that end, I bring you Candyman.
Not so much the actual Candyman–the Clive Barker version featuring Tony Todd–but some what sounds like British kid’s interpretation of the legendary myth. Like normal, he presents us with the Candyman myth–if you say the name “Candyman” in front of a mirror three times, you die. And what happens when he does it is going to be a laugh riot. How big of a laugh riot, you ask? Let’s put it this way–this is what the “More Info” section of his video on Youtube reads: “omg, 50k+ views…i wish it was on one of my new videos not this junk”.
Well, sorry, kiddo–it’s already standing at just over EIGHTY thousand views, and there’s a good reason. This is FUNNY. I personally couldn’t go thirty seconds without laughing at this kid’s insane antics, presented to the tune of the Candyman legend coupled with some kind of sped-up sample of Yackety Sax. If you need a fast pick-me-up in the middle of your day, you could do a whole lot worse than Neenawrr’s interpretation of Candyman.
