Cables Hit Show ‘The Closer’ Opens Tonight

The third season of TNT’s hit show ‘The Closer’ starts tonight. Star of the show Kyra Sedgwick plays Brenda Leigh Johnson in the series that has won fans praise and critical acclaim. Last season Sedgwick won a Golden Globe for her work on the show. Sedwick was caught by surprise and very happy with the award according to an interview with actress conducted by the Chicago Tribune. She told the paper:
“I wasn’t expecting it at all; it was a big fabulous surprise. We had dinner reservations, and I figured I’d go and I’d lose and we’d go out to dinner. It’s one of those things where you think, ‘Oh, it means nothing,’ then when you win, you’re like, ‘This is really meaningful!’”
‘The Closer’ airs on Monday nights at 8 PM. If you are a fan of Detective shows or Sedgwick it is a show not be missed.
