Sacha Baron Cohen’s films usually face obstacles before release, and Bruno is no different. However, this time around, the one filing the lawsuit is the stupid one.
Richelle Olson has filed a lawsuit seeking damages from an injury that has left her disabled. Apparently, Cohen used vulgar language and struggled for the microphone at a bingo game. This is where things get interesting: she apparently fled to a nearby room where she hit her head on a concrete floor and must now use either a wheelchair or a cane to move around.
How this lawsuit is still standing is a mystery to me. It was her own fault that she got injured; how Cohen is responsible for this, I don’t know.
Olson is now seeking $25,000 in damages.
