Jerry Bruckheimer loves to produce movies. He was at Comic-Con robotwars2009 where he nabbed the feature rights to the graphic novel “World War Robot.”

The robot war story, written by Ashley Wood, recounts a war from a diary written by both participants of the war.

The bulk of the story places most of the attention on a dwindling band of humans and robots facing off in a battle on Earth, the moon and Mars.  The story gets political along the way with very violent battles and intense human/robot drama, but there is a lighter side with comic undertones.
