Bridges, Gyllenhaal in ‘Crazy’

Jeff Bridges, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Robert Duvall are set to star in the music-based drama Crazy Heart.
Based on the debut novel by Thomas Cob, the story revolves on a down-on-his-luck, alcoholic country music singer (Bridges) who turns his life and career back on track through his relationship and experiences with a female reporter (Gyllenhaal).
Filming is schedule to start next month around Santa Fe, N.M.
Bridges, who is onscreen in the box office hit Iron Man, will perform original songs in Crazy Heart.

I love Maggie Gyllenhaal, and this one sounds like fun. Thanks for pointing it out, I probably would have missed this news.

I can’t wait to see her in The Dark Knight, although I will miss Katie Holmes. Maggie Gyllenhaal is a gem.
