Box Office This Week, What About Next Week?

January 25th, 2008 in Box Office

clover.jpg“Cloverfield” made over $51 million this week, making the horror film the number one movie for week, while “Atonement” made over $6 million, making the love story number ten at the box office this week.  At number six is “Mad Money” a comedy, which made over $10 million. Not bad for a week that included a three day weekend.

I’m interested in seeing what happens to the three movies that open this weekend, ”Rambo,” “Untraceable” and “Meet the Spartans.” I am betting  on ”Rambo” to take the number one spot because the trailer is hot and the franchise is strong.

Here is the full list.
