Friday the tally came in for the week. “I am a Legend” staying on top with “Alvin and the
Chipmunks” singing second.
I noticed “Atonement” went down from nine to ten, hey it’s only playing in 117 theaters — not bad for even placing on the top ten. I hope it comes back up this weekend. “Enchanted” is doing great still at number four after holding number one spot before “The Golden Compass” arrived on the scene, now number three.![]()
What caught my eye is that “No Country for Old Men” is holding at number five and is in only 1,300+ theaters. All the awards and attention most likely is keeping it up there — I hear Javier does an excellent job of being real unnerving.
This Monday will be an interesting outcome. I am betting on “Book of Secrets” although “Charlie Wilson’s War” is my favorite choice. Or, “Legend” will stay on top. What is your estimation?
