Bones star hears Cal of the Wild

SURVIVORMAN Who doesn’t like D-list celebrities try to hate each other to death on reality TV? How about those survival shows where they put people in crazy/dangerous situations and expect them to live through it?

Keeping the above in mind, Bones star John Francis Daley and The New Adventures of Old Christine scribe Jonathan Goldstein have teamed up to write Cal of the Wild, a reality-TV themed comedy for DreamWorks.

It will tell the story of Cal Tanner, the fraudulent star of a cable TV survival show, who is forced to keep himself and his secretary alive when they are put in an actual survival situation.

No production date was given. The pair is known for previously selling their comedy scripts The $40,000 Man and Burt Wonderstone.
