I must admit this movie sounds a bit odd, but perhaps it will turn out to be a fabulous Elton John (Rocket Pictures) film about an adaptation of Jane Austen, which men will drag their girlfriends.

Will Clark will direct Pride and Predator, a story that steers clear from the traditional period costume drama when an alien crash lands and begins to butcher the mannered protagonists, who suddenly have more than marriage and inheritance to worry about.

The bizarre movie starts shooting in London later this year.

Clark, who directed award-winning short The Amazing Trousers, wrote the script with Andrew Kemble and John Pape.

Elton John will supervise the music of the film.
