Word is out from Fox Atomic that former Major League Baseball player Bill Buckner will make his feature film debut in The Comebacks, an upcoming sports spoof comedy from the producers of Wedding Crashers.

Buckner will appear on ESPN’s “Hot Seat” tonight on ESPN. On the show, Buckner will discuss his role in the movie as he reenacts his historical ‘moment’ from the 1986 World Series game .

The Comebacks will hit the theaters this Friday, October 19, 2007.
