Ben Stiller has signed on to produce and possibly even star in “The Return of King Doug”, a movie adaptation of an Oni Press graphic novel who’s film rights were recently nabbed by DreamWorks. The film centers on a man who must return to the fantasy world he abandoned 30 years earlier.

The graphic novel was written by Greg Erb and Jasn Oremland, who will also write the screenplay. Ben Stiller, along with Stuart Cornfeld and Jeremy Kramer will be producing “King” through their DreamWorks based Red Hour Productions. Eric Gitter, an Oni partner, will also produce through Closed on Mondays Entertainment. Serving as executive producer is Peter Schwerin.
