I heard about this song from Barbra Streisand’s interview with William Friedkin while she talked about recording the same song on her Broadway Album. The interview can be seen on the bonus disc 3 of Barbra Streisand’s Streisand The Concerts, which I am watching now and loving it pure and pure.
