We have known for a long time that an Arrested Development film is in the works, but so far not much progress had been made. However, Reuters reports that Mitch Hurwitz and Ron Howard have closed deals for the film version of the prematurely cancelled television show.
Hurwitz is on board to both write and direct the film with help from Howard. Imagine and Fox Searchlight will produce and distribute the film.
No release date or production date was given.
