dario-argento.jpgHard core horror fans might want to think about heading to Toronto for the Rue Morgue Festival of Fear this August 24th through the 26th. Sponsored by the magazine “Rue Morgue”, the festival will feature a rare, in person appearance by Italian master of horror, Dario Argento. George Romero, Argento’s friend and collaborator is also scheduled to appear. If that wasn’t enough, other scheduled attendees include H. G. Lewis, the director of Blood Feast and 2000 Maniacs, and actress-filmmaker Angela Bettis of the cult favorite, May. The beloved punk of Clockwork Orange, Malcolm McDowell, and everybodies’ favorite hobbit, Sean Astin, are also listed. Of films to be presented will be Lamberto Bava’s Demons 2, which was co-written and produced by Argento.
