Movie City News introduced the official poster for An Education. The Sundance triumph stars Carey Mulligan and Peter Sarsgaard. Both are beautifully posed on the poster. First Showing reports that An Education is more than a great film and we are sure to hear more buzz about Carey Mulligan soon.
An Education is a coming-of-age story about a teenage girl in 1960s suburban London, which sits on the cusp of the free-spirited decade to come. Her life changes with the arrival of a playboy twice her age.
An Education is directed by Danish filmmaker Lone Scherfig and the screenplay is by British author Nick Hornby. It premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year where it won the Audience Award and Cinematography Award. An Education opens in theaters on October 9, 2009.
I love discovering hidden gems like An Education. I plan to keep track of this movie, and when the trailer is release, I will post it here.

Yes, they do look a little like McGregor and Williams. The music I don’t know but I have a feeling that the soundtrack will be available soon. You could check out AOL Radio and see if they have the soundtrack through their search engine. Let me know if you find it.
