Amalric Goes Villian

amalric_mathieu.jpgMathieu Amalric played a paralyzed stroke victim in “The Diving Bell and the Butterfly.” Now he’s agreed to face off against Agent 007, Daniel Craig, in the 22nd installment of the James Bond franchise.

With a mug like his, it’s hard to visualize him as 007’s nemesis.

Bond goes before for the cameras today! It’s not a sudden start folks, it’s practically a month behind its original schedule.

I can picture him in the role. I like that they’re going for slightly younger villains now. It’s cool to see Bond face off against someone roughly his age.

    Good point.

The whole franchise “image” of the film has changed. I like it.

I liked Craig’s take on Bond as well in “Casino Royale.” It took a little getting used to, but started to flow for me after I got that he is the maverick he’s always been but started out rough around the edges.
