The 2007 ‘MTV Movie Awards’ have announced that Sarah Silverman will be the show’s host. The American stand-up comedian/actress has had a busy year as her show, “The Sarah Silverman Program” launched on Comedy Central, scoring high ratings and rave reviews.
MTV Execs are looking forward to see what she has planned saying, “Sarah’s irreverent, no holds barred sarcasm and humor have made her one of the hottest up and coming comedians in the industry,” said Christina Norman, President, MTV. “Sarah is just the person to orchestrate the madness and keep everyone guessing about who’ll be her next target.”
The show will be broadcast live from the Gibson Theater in Universal City, California on Sunday, June 3, 2007, so keep the date open to see how she does.
