1987Kirk Productions, a bare three days ago, brought out their entry in the Chiller Dare 2 Direct series from 2008 and slapped it on YouTube.  It’s a real doozy called 1987, and the question will remain, just how good is it?

It’s a freaky little package, all about torture and abuse and insanity and whatnot, and what you’ll find at the end is just downright shocking.

Of course, to get there you’ll have to go through nearly three minutes of torture porn, so you may well not even want to bother.  Frankly, I can’t say that the slog through the miserable muck is really worth the marginal payoff that the ending brought.  But then, I’m the type to think that all torture porn is just pointlessness from the gore for gore’s sake school of filmmaking anyway.

So do I recommend this latest foray into the Dare 2 Direct series?  No…no I don’t.  And thankfully, it didn’t win anything, so there’s no real need to see it in the first place.
