More ABC news today, as the network’s family division has ordered a half-hour television pilot based on the ’99 teen comedy 10 Things I Hate About You.

The film was a modern retelling of “Taming of the Shrew” by William Shakespeare. It starred Julia Stiles, Heath Ledger, and others.

Director of the original, Gil Junger, will also helm the pilot that will focus on the sisters Kate and Bianca Stratford who are facing their new high-school environment.
