Half Nelson Trailer Released

The trailer for Half Nelson, the latest vehicle for Ryan Gosling to show us all his manly arms came out yesterday. The film follows Gosling playing a junior high teacher who manages to inspire and educate inside his classroom, but struggles with the realities of life outside of it. When one his pupils played by Shareeka Epps catches him in his altered state the two form a, get this, an unexpected friendship.

Half Nelson is in theatres August 11th and features music from Broken Social Scene so your art school girlfriend will probably like it. Afterwards she'll probably complain that your arms aren't manly enough. Thems the breaks.

Please be honest, is the new business model based on whoring for movies moreso than banner ads and linkboxes? Cause we'll understand if that's the case, otherwise we'll just think you're lame at digging up content.

Sorry for the frankness, couldn't think of a better way to put it.

I think wohho just nailed my worry dead on the spot.

If you're asking whether they're paying me to shill their film the answer is no.

So I guess I'm just bad at digging up content. Damn.

At the same time though, it stands to reason that since Dong's interpretation of what screenhead should be, and what regular readers came to expect, didn't work out so great, there need to be some kind of changes.

I expect the site to change, but I come here for interesting, funny, and clever things, I go to rotten tomatos for movie info.
