Fall 2006 Previews
Rotten Tomatoes has it's fall movie preview up for this year and there's a couple of dates for your calendar. The Fountain, Darren Aronofsky's long delayed follow up to Requiem For A Dream is the pick of the bunch for my money. Not only is it one of the few films in the list that isn't a sequel or a remake, but it's also some sort of..time travelling love affair. Just one of the genres that I think modern cinema is lacking in. The new Brian De Palma flick, The Black Dahlia also looks like it could pack in some hard-boiled twists and turns provided the screenplay does the Ellroy novel justice.
The now ubiquitous Snakes On a Plane makes an appearance too. Can that film just happen and be over?

Escaped killer Bees on a plane would make for a much better “B” movie.

Cold blooded snakes on a plane its too unrealistic even for a B movie. Dinosaurs would be cooler. Some of the dinosaurs were warm blooded, so they should, more realistically, be able to escape the freezing cargo hold. I would imagine it'd be harder to keep them sedated, on a long haul flight, as we don't understand Dinosaur physiology very well.
