Dr. Seuss Went to War
Around 1941 Theodor Seuss Geisel (Dr. Seuss to kids and weed freaks everywhere) became concerned about the war in Europe, and began drawing editorial cartoons, which were picked up by New York tabloid newspaper PM.
Here then, is a well indexed catalogue of these `toons. Such topics coming out of otherwise familiar pen strokes sort of feels sort of like Elmo from Sesame Street laying it all down about how anal sex works. Well, perhaps not that creepy, but close.
