Romantic Rights
Ghostmilk's effective video for rock unit Death From Above 1979's Romantic Rights.
Death From Above 1979 is known for having only a drummer and bass player, but no guitar, which reminds us of the White Stripes, who have only a guitar player and kind of a drummer. The video for Romantic Rights makes use of 1970s toy/irritation Lite Brite, in much the same way as the White Stripes video "Fell in Love With a Girl" rendered scenes in 1940s toy/bare foot irritation Lego.
We're not going anywhere with this analysis other than to rest our case that rock music as a whole has pretty much been in a self-referential clusterfuck rut since Bon Scott had pickled vomit for breakfast one morning in 1980.
