It's Hip-Hop week at NPR interview show Fresh Air, and they fired it off yesterday with a fairly righteous bang: three great interviews with Melle Mel, Grandmaster Flash, and the papa of the DJ breakbeat itself, Kool Herc. the three offer a tight little peek at the major American cultural movement of the past 30 years through personal reminiscence. Nice to hear from these three if you're into Hip-Hop, worthwhile and engaging if you're not.
