We always loved Christopher Tyng's theme music for Matt Groening's Futurama cartoon, turns out it was not entirely original, but a sound-alike to Pierre Henry's Moog-fest Psyche Rock, knocked out for the show because Matt couldn't get rights to the original. Scott Soriano's music blog Crud Crud has an MP3 of the original Pierre Henry tune.
