So "Pink Five" is a Star Wars fan film in which a valley girl takes over the role of Luke Skywalker. It is as funny as it sounds, and it won the "George Lucas Selects" award in the 2003 Star Wars Fan Film Awards.. a trophy which looks like a small gold virgin, we think.
Anyway, it was so popular that it spawned an inevitable sequel, Pink Five Strikes Back, which won the Audience Choice Award in that year's Fan Film Awards. Such popularity has lead to the closing of the trilogy with Return of Pink Five, which is still in production. We were turned on to by Pink Five by the Culture Pup comic strip, which is good place to start; read it, then watch the two shorts, and the trailer for big number three.
