Gus Van Zant's film Last Days speculates on Kurt Cobain's final hours before he sought the ultimate in sinus relief. Seems hard to win with a film like this-- if you're fan of Nirvana it'll probably seem needless and commoditizing, if you're not a fan of Nirvana it'll seem like Michael Pitt mumbling about for two hours in a goofy outfit, fucked out of his brains. Nevertheless, the advance word had been positive, and Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon pops up in it.
