Hello again

Hello-334.JPGWe linked to an extended trailer yesterday, mistakenly thinking we were side-stepping a Real Player format of the entre short animated film "Hello." Reader Steve now points us to the full film at Strange Attractors, which includes a synopsis for those fresh to it : "Charlie, a man with a portable cassette player for a head, is in love with hi-tech Emerald. At the mercy of his tape collection, Charlie continually bungles his attempts to ask her out. Only Hero Wasabi, a wise old gramophone head, can help him. In a digital world, can analogue find true love."

Jonathon Nix's Hello [Strange Attractors] (Real Format, but worth it) With thanks to Steve

Also available at a slick-looking Japanese site, which we can't read. Could be donkey porn going on in there, we're not looking.

And- The Young Man's Book Of Amusement : "A vast selection of interesting (& some highly ill-advised) experiments & pastimes from the 19th Century."
Originally published in 1854. The class action suit is still mounting.
