Expressionist Films' Party

ust.jpg
Bibi rounds up some of the broodier films in the public domain floating around on the interweb, like F. W. Murnau's Faust and Fritz Lang's M. We've featured a few of these individually before, but all at once like this they make a great backdrop for drinking absinthe and cursing the nature of man, which is, like most things philosophical and whiney, a lot more satisfying if done while at work. You can get away with this sort of thing as long as you're clever: most absinthe looks like mountain dew, and a lot of these look like German language courses. Also, bring the sheet cake to the next birthday hump thing. Sheet cake smoothes over a lot of bad behavior.
