It'd been so long since we first noticed graphic novel upstart NYC2123 that we'd forgotten about it until we saw it mentioned on Metafitler. Downloadable to PSPs or readable on the web, it's your standard 80s style cyberpunk, but nicely presented and fairly cool.

Popular gaming comic Ctrl+Alt+Del is going animated February of 2006, roughly five minute animated shorts will show up monthly featuring professional voice actors at $2.99 an episode, or if you sign now, a year membership (12 episodes) for $1.66 per episode. Or you can watch Dilbert and Undergrads reruns on Comedy Central at 3 am or so.

The Baghdad Trophy Video

"Funny shit", but not ha-ha funny, more like "for a superpower we look like a joke" funny: yesterday the big interweb buzz was over the "trophy" video of some civilians in Baghdad being shot by members of a private security company, which is a lot of syllables for the word "mercenaries." The video, probably best seen at either Crooks and Liars or from site Flurl. This clip has so far sparked two investigations into who and what we've got dong our dirty work over there. (Both video links seem to use the clip from BareKnucklePolitics.com, as far as we can tell the origin point of the video. )

Also: The Brit Marines Hazing Gets Out Of Hand video isn't doing a lot for the general western image, either.
