The DAMN Show (they of Dance Like A White Guy, The Gooks Of Hazzard, and Yuko The Clown who graces the Howard Stern Show now and again) has been picked up by MTV2 and re-branded into "Stankervision" ( a name change which invokes the fun image of a pack of suits asking questions along the lines of "say, how can we Ashton Kutcher this racist pedophile clown thing a little?", but we only speculate idly). The trailer for the show is hilarious and reminds us of ye olde fond MTV stabs at comedy packaging like The State, only considerably edgier. If the show itself is nearly as funny as the trailer, well then it's probably doomed to the same shity treatment short run just like any other worthwhile comedy programing MTV has ever tried, so catch it while you can. The show premire is 9 PM EST on MTV2, Friday the 8th.
