Hell of a drug

Strictly speaking, we don't think the intent with these Meth Project PSAs is to be ha-ha funny, and yet we haven't laughed this hard since that "mission accomplished" banner flight deck thing Bush pulled. Victor Hugo wasn't this sincere and foreboding.

There's a locally produced PSA running in my area where they say "Meth - it's easy to remember because it rhymes with DEATH." It makes me laugh every time I hear it.

I must be getting old. This has none of the pathetic irony I thought Nancy Reagan's Just Say No campaign had. Meth is a bitch. And it is hammering a lot of small rural communities. I'd give my tax dollars to see even more earnest, more over the top ads. Whatever it takes.
