Click fraud
We saw the TV ad for the Adam Sander movie Click in which Adam gets a magical remote control which governs the universe, rolled our one good eye and went about our daily task of tossing darts our of apartment window at the people God doesn't like. Weblog Ironic Sans more constructively took the wonderment of seeing what the hell Christopher Walken will stoop to for a paycheck nowadays, took that anger, and compiled this surprisingly comprehensive list of shows which have used the exact same plot device:
Remote Remake [Ironic Sans]

As much as this movie is a sellout piece of crap, it doesn't stand out as less unoriginal than other cliche high-concept ideas Hollywood churns out (cop that's a week away from retirement movie, serial killer that leaves cryptic messages, or the sports movie where the owner needs the team to lose and the players are supposedly bad, but the team finds a way to win anyway)
"Click" is a terrible name for a comedy though.
I wouldn't even rent this film.
