Otl Aicher was is the artist responisble for developing the internationally recognized airport symybiology (sp?).
Most notable of his works was the symbols used for 1972 Munich Olympics.
He was a student of the industrial design school Bauhaus (Check your fonts).

See, college has officialy paid off.
