Bugbear
Bugbear is an interesting Flash-based site which "looks at the similarities between using the internet and knitting", from knitting rebel Freddie Robins.
"The moth is an enemy to both knitting and computing- moth larvae feeds on all kinds of dry materials of animal origin. They particularly enjoy wool. In 1945 Grace Murray Hopper who was working on the relay-based Harvard Mark 11 computer found the first actual computer bug, a moth, jamming the relays of her computer. It was taped in the log book alongside the official report, 'First actual case of bug being found."
Interesting thoughts, as well as knitting patterns to make clothing for people deformed to a Cronenberg-approved level.
