C505 (aka Yoshi Sodeoka) creates Matrix-esque ASCII version of classic rock videos. He's become fairly well known for doing it with two of Bush's speeches back in 2004, but those suffered for being hard to listen to.

Seeing as there is one guy and he's not dead from a self-induced bullet, I'd guess there is an algorithm somewhere and he's controlling it.
