"You're asking me to believe in sentient meat."
Terry Bisson's very well traveled humorous sci-fi short story gets the short film treatment from director Stephen O'Regan. As the first comment on the atom site complains, the gag of two non-meat beings struggling to get around the idea of creatures made of meat feels a little muted when the beings have become meat to have the chinwag, but Terry himself seems pleased with the film, so who are we to argue. The short recently won the Grand Prize at the Science Fiction Museum's SF Short Film Festival in Seattle.
