inspired by artist Shogo Minamikawa's being attacked by a Yakuza at street faire, The Parlor is an animated short wherein a tattoo artist defeats a yakuza using tattoo design, a kind of passive revenge fantasy. Shogo's thesis and ultimately prize winning project at the Parsons design school.
